tutorials_helpWhy Kennesaw State University?

No other university in the U.S. offers students a curriculum that includes all areas of writing in one program.

Our chief goal is give students the tools they need to be successful professional writers once they have graduated. To some, success means obtaining a writing job within a corporation; to others it means finishing the novel they have begun and abandoned countless times. Because students concentrate (or "major") in one genre and select a supporting area (or "minor") in at least one other area, they graduate as well-rounded writers. Our small class size - no more than 15 in most classes - allows professors to pay close attention to student progress.

For example, a student may concentrate in applied writing in hopes of finding a job in one of this country's major corporations or in order to advance within his or her current company. But that same student may select creative writing as a support area and write the novel he or she has been dreaming about for years or a memoir of his or her childhood.
